Programming Note

To all my readers;

I want to just reiterate how appreciative I am that you take the time to check out my reviews. I want to wish each and every one of you the very best this holiday season, regardless of which holiday you may celebrate – even if you celebrate none at all.

Here at Cinema365, I intend to celebrate to the fullest and would like to share that celebration with my readers in the form of a couple of special features. First of all, we have a look ahead at 2010 and the movies that are scheduled to be released. While we’ll be focusing on the first four months of the year, we’ll also have mini-previews of the Summer and Fall seasons as well just to give you a taste of what is to come. That will be coming out on December 20, so be sure and mark your calendars for that. In addition, like most critics I’ll be doing a Top 10 list for you; that will be coming out on January 14. I hope you’ll tune in for that as well.

As I did with horror movies during Halloween, I intend to do a themed review series of Christmas movies starting on December 21. As of now I’ve got most of the movies that I’m going to review, but if there’s one you’d like to see me write about, drop me a line in the commentary and I will make every effort to add that to the list. If there are enough requests, I might extend the series a day or two. Unlike the Halloween series Six Days of Darkness, I won’t be adding an accompanying fiction piece with each review, although I will be printing a Christmas-themed short story along with the review on Christmas Day. Given my penchant for treacle, I’m sure it will pull out all the emotional stops.

I haven’t settled on a name for this series either, although I’m leaning towards the Holly and the Quill, although that sounds more like a pub which I don’t have a problem with.

In any case if you have any ideas, do let me know. No pressure though; if I don’t hear from y’all, I’ll just go on with what I’ve got in mind anyway. I hope you enjoy both the series as well as the special features coming your way, as well as the daily reviews that will continue to come out before then. In any case  have a wonderful Holiday. Thanks again for stopping by.
