Well, we did make it to 13 Assassins on Saturday, so you can expect the review of it on Monday. Sunday we had a less busy day and only made it to two movies – the documentary Stuff which we’re hoping to post on Monday and the French comedy Potiche which we’re looking to post on Tuesday.
Potiche was very well-attended and despite tepid reviews elsewhere I found it to be very funny. It was a nice way to end the weekend.
Hot weather might be keeping people away – it was well over 90F at the Festival site. Monday will also be on the quiet side for us; we’re hoping to see the documentary Holy Wars and the world premiere of the drama This Narrow Place. Fortunately, both will be screening in the evening, so that will be at least a bit nicer. Hope to see you there.
