I Don’t Belong Anywhere: The Cinema of Chantal Akerman – New York City
there was a rumour that the bats vs supes film was going to be split in 2, with part 1 coming out this nov. Have you heard anything about that?
I’ve heard the rumor but thus far nothing has been confirmed by Warners, which has a pretty tight schedule with their DC material. They’d have to start moving everything six to eight months out in order to accommodate a second BvsS installment and quite frankly, splitting the movie into two might normally be a no-brainer, it is more of an unknown quantity here; fans are still not sold on Henry Cavill as Supes and especially not on Ben Affleck as Batman. I think they might be considering it, but at the end of the day their focus needs to be on establishing the DC Cinematic Universe and beginning with a split film might not be the best means to go about it.
